Start a dental practice

Opening a practice is one of the biggest steps in your career. Excel Dental Solutions guides you from the first plan to opening day, handling consulting, office setup, credentialing, IT, equipment and supplies with one team.

What we handle

One team coordinates the work so you don't have to manage a long list of vendors yourself.

Startup Consulting

We help you plan the practice before you sign anything: business plan and budget, location and demographic analysis, lease review support, financing preparation and a realistic launch timeline.

Office Setup, Start to Finish

From floor plan to opening day, we coordinate the moving pieces: layout and operatory planning, contractors and build-out, signage, furniture, utilities and the punch list, so you're not managing it all yourself.

Insurance Credentialing

Credentialing often takes months, so we start early. We handle provider and group enrollment with PPO plans, Medicaid and other networks, track every application, and follow up until you're in network.

IT & Networking

We plan and set up the technology backbone: network and Wi-Fi, workstations, phone system, practice-management and imaging software integration, backups and security practices that support HIPAA compliance.

Equipment Ordering

We help you choose and order equipment that fits your clinical style and budget, including chairs and delivery units, imaging, sterilization and cabinetry, then coordinate delivery and installation around the build-out.

Supply Negotiations

Through our network of practices we negotiate pricing on dental supplies, lab services and equipment, so a brand-new practice starts with the buying power of an established group.

Frequently asked questions

Don't see your question? Ask us directly.

How long does it take to open a new dental practice?

Every startup is different. The timeline depends on your location, the build-out, permits, equipment lead times and insurance credentialing. In your first consultation we map out a realistic schedule and keep every workstream moving in parallel.

Can you help if I've already found a location?

Yes. We can join at any stage, whether you're still exploring markets, have signed a lease or are partway through construction, and pick up whatever still needs to be done.

When should I start insurance credentialing?

As early as possible. Credentialing with PPO plans and Medicaid often takes several months, so we usually begin enrollment well before opening day so you can see insured patients from the start.

Do I have to buy specific equipment brands?

No. We help you compare options that fit your clinical style, space and budget, then use our vendor relationships to negotiate pricing and coordinate delivery and installation.

Do you help after the practice opens?

Yes. Once you're open, we can support insurance billing, accounting and payroll, marketing, purchasing, facilities and call center coverage, so the business side keeps running smoothly while you grow.

Who is this for?

Dentists opening their first practice, owners adding a new location, and associates ready to go out on their own. If you're considering a startup, a short conversation is the best place to begin.
